We're channeling our inner Leslie Knope today! That's right, today's 7 super tips guest is Amy Poehler. Poehler is an American comedian, actress, writer, producer, and director. In today's episode, you'll hear Poehler discuss the demon voice, finding your tribe, surfing through life, and managing motherhood and work.

 

After studying improv at Second City, Poehler co-founded the improv troupe Upright Citizens Brigade. In 2001, she joined the cast Saturday Night Live where she became co-anchor of SNL's Weekend Update in 2004 until she left the series in 2008 to star as Leslie Knope in the sitcom Parks and Recreation. Poehler won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Musical or Comedy Series in 2014 and a Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series in 2012. She and Tina Fey won the 2016 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for co-hosting SNL. Poehler is also an author. Her book, Yes Please, made her a New York Times Bestselling Author in 2016.
